You know what's funny though? Nnamdi has 1 more tackle on the year than Asante.
Which means Asante has more attempted tackles than Nnamdi, he just misses a lot. And yet, he still has one less than Nnamdi. _________________

He has allowed double the receptions and yards than his Oakland days? That's fine because guess what? Last year he was ranked #1 in receptions or yards allowed per snap. He still allowed less yards than Revis as well as catches. This year he ranks in the top 15 in receptions allowed per snap but that's because they have counted some BS screen plays where he was playing off coverage.
You brought up the Hixon play? You mean the one they were in cover 3 and Nate Allen AND Kurt Coleman both bit on the PA? I believe either Sheil or his partner broke the play down and showed that and it is some where in the thread. I guess we have to start blaming for every catch in zone when someone doesn't play their responsibility? _________________

Teams are running at him over Duante because Duante can actually tackle. Asante lunges. But its still funny.... _________________

You guys will go the whole 9 yards to defend everything this guy does
This guy seems to have an excuse for everything he does. _________________

What does that even mean? Nnamdi is in the top 5 in run support in terms of stops for CBs. So good, Asante is getting more tackles because he probably has allowed more catches. I know PFF has Nnamdi allowing catches in off coverage on screen plays but that's BS. _________________

Duante can't tackle either - Atlanta have the worst pair of tackling corners _________________

Show me the link. What are the stats based on? There is no way in God's green Earth Nnamdi is top 5 in run stoppage without a logical flaw in the statistics. _________________

Naw, you haven't seen me defend him on plays he was clearly beat ala, Jacoby Jones, Julio Jones, ect. But yeah, if he is getting "beat" on zone plays when it isn't his responsibility then I will defend him. _________________

JAD, we're laughing because Asante can't tackle for squat. _________________

He may not be that bad, but tackling Andre Johnson and Brandon Marshall one on one can be a problem . _________________

I'm well aware that, I've seen four Falcons games and his "attempts" are hilarious. I will say this though, he surprised the crap out of me against the Broncos. He obviously just threw himself at every single offensive player, but he laid the wood a few times. Asante did miss three tackles that game, but that was awesome to watch . _________________

I don't even have the words to respond to this anymore.
During the MNF game I can point every tackle DeMeco misses, every snap where he only gives 90%, every poor angle he takes. If you'd like
Bear in mind I'll be doing it as a guy who loves DeMeco, who's so incredibly grateful for what he's offering our D. He's fantastic and the MLB we've desperately needed for a decade.
There's just no excuse for a longtime football fan to be making an attitude argument based off a player occasionally giving up or a catch or making a weak tackle attempt or not jumping into the pile on run support
No player on the planet is operating at 100% every single snap
Dawk was the one and only
The "attitude" argument is 100% the wrong way to be approaching this. Talk about how Nnamdi needs the right pieces around him and we don't have them, talk about how he has a specific skillset and it's not a good fit for the D we have, talk about how he's clearly slowing down and he may not be a viable #1 CB in 2 or so years. Nnamdi is not a perfect player, no one is, and there are arguments to be made for getting rid of him. Arguments with merit, with weight.
This attitude stuff is bollocks, it's the kind of puffery and nonsense you'd expect from an NFL Network segment. And the pics you're posting in support of it... I can't _________________
