Makes me curious with 7 CBs on the roster I think there's a chance Talib or Wright might be facing a suspension by Goodell.
Also G Julian Vandervelde was signed to PS and Bert Reed released. Think Vanderverde ends up on the roster at some point soon.
Thoughts? | I wouldn't look in to it too much. Biggers won't be playing due to injury. Gaitor is dinged up as well. Wright suffered stiffness in his back the other day. And last but not least you have Talib who is very vulnerable to a lame injury. I couldn't believe he got a leg/foot injury in that Atlanta game 2 seasons ago. McDonald has some playing experience as a nickel back so I think Schiano is just making sure he has enough CB's that is ready to play live ball. |

Still a little shocked that Hardman didn't make the team... thought he was an absolute lock. Still, with the injuries among our CBs I guess we had to make room one way or another. _________________

Really glad to hear that. He had his down moments but for the most part handled Suh very well when he got his opportunity. That has to be worth something, right? _________________

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @TBBuccaneers
Jordan Shipley is back. The former CIN WR re-signed Tuesday & G Derek Hardman was released. Shipley played in 2 preseason games w/the Bucs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @TBBuccaneers
The Bucs also made a switch on the practice squad, signing DE D.J. Bryant (James Madison U) and releasing LB J.K. Schaffer.
I'm kinda wondering what they are doing with the musical roster. Wish they would have brought back Underwood. |

Still don't get the Underwood talk. He didn't stick with the jaguars. Come on.
Obviously I think this move was made bc schiano may not be satisfied with what he's seeing in the slot wr. Parker has even non existant |

It's because parker got injured during the Giants game. He was seen limping in a walking boot after the game.
I with we had Markus White on the active roster because I saw he was heading back to Washington now that they lost Orakpo. I think he could be a good player and obviously the organization felt the same way about him when they made him the highest paid player out of all the teams practice squads. _________________

From what I recall, Hester is a decent receiver and a good runner, but a poor blocker. If we bring him in, does that spell the end of Blount? |

I think that's accurate. We have been terrible in short yardage situations thus far so maybe that's why we are giving him a look.
I don't know what we are doing with Blount, but he's obviously not a part of the plan anymore. At this point we should just shop him around if we aren't going to use him. |

As much as I don't like it, I think you're right. Might as well try to get something for him. |

Quote: | Bucs WR Sammie Stroughter is dealing with a foot injury that "may or may not be a longer-term issue."The injury played a part in Jordan Shipley's re-signing. Stroughter was limited by a foot injury for a large chunk of 2011, and he could be headed to injured reserve if he's staring at any sort of a prolonged absence |

I really like Jacob Hester, he is great in short yardage and runs hard. He would be an upgrade to Blount. _________________
