He has admitted he was wrong about TP starting over ML, what more does he need to say? that he was wrong and TP is a great football player? I imagine once he proves to be a great football player he will say that, but he hasn't, and one game wont prove that he is. | When exactly did he admit that literaly 3 post before yours, after hundreds of anti Pryor post, plus he's just being sarcastic. If you read the countless Jtagg post on Pryor then you know he doesn't think the guy stands a chance to make it in the NFL as a QB, after all he's watched every play at OSU. All real fans want is to see him play then form our opinion. Not except Jtaggs as fact. _________________

That's fine, he has watched him at OSU and thinks he cannot be an NFL QB. You may have watched him and choose to ignore his play at OSU, or you haven't watched him and want to see him as an NFL player before you judge him, and that's fine. |

Absolutely, after all Draft Season is right around the corner. Then we'll be cussing and name calling over draft picks. |

For anyone else that would like to show support for Pryor during his first NFL start by sporting this avatar, you're more than welcome too.

It seems like people are more interested in saying "I told you so" after the game on Sunday in regards to Pryor. I can see it already.
If he's bad, we simply let him go & move on. Until then, everyone should be hoping for the best for the sake of this team. |
Great post. Far too many egoes at play in here. Most posters just want their opinion to be proven right even if it is at the detriment of the Raiders.
Been happening all season and the forum is a poorer place as a result. |
Well said.
I can already see this place going crazy after Pryor plays.
| big_palooka wrote: | It come down to skill for me. DHB works hard and is a great teammate. But watching balls clank off his chest on 3rd down is what I don't like.
Pryor is a wait and see. Hope to see some improvement in his game as a passer. Love his work ethic, but it has to translate on the field. |
No question.
Skillset a giant factor in all of this. I'm just saying we should wait & see (like you said) before we claim him as 'QBoTF' or 'he doesn't deserve to play'. The way he is handling things right now certainly don't hurt.
It still amazes me that this thread has reached 96 pages of back & forth about a 3rd string QB getting 1 chance to play in a game. It's as if we have zillions of $ invested in him. |
Yup this place is going to go into meltdown.
I am looking forward to seeing the kid play. Not expecting too much from him and I am expecting the play book to contain only plays that he is comfortable with.
1 game isn't going to be enough to fully evaluate him on but should be enough to give us a guide of how he is doing. _________________

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked. | #clueless |

At least we'll be able to judge him on actual play instead of assumptions or what he did in college. I'm no Pryor fan or Pryor hater but i'm curious to see him play just like i have been with most of the young players this season, his position just makes it a bigger deal. _________________

Yeah exactly. Unfortunately too many in here have already made their mind up but that goes for a number of players tbh. _________________

+1 its supper annoying |
I agree. I know I've been doing it myself. I apologize for acting like an idiot towards fellow Raiders fans. Just tired of the losing and some of the fellow posters.
We are all passionate about this team and should show support of our players, even Carson Palmer. |
