HT! Congrats. That's a hell of a hire. Arkansas expected to announce Boise State's Chris Peterson as their next head coach.
SEC just got a lot better. Although I think Strong would have been a better choice.

Several 'sources' on Twitter. But apparently he has a clause that he has to announce to Boise State before he goes somewhere? So maybe it's not official. Apparently it will be on Tuesday?
Hmm. May not be official. Strange. I expect it to happen though.

Until it happens, I am not getting my hopes up. But, I sooooo want this to happen. I wanted Gary Patterson, but would be just as happy with Chris Peterson.

Florida will be appearing in its 22nd consecutive bowl game, a mark that ranks first in the Southeastern Conference and second nationally. The Gators are 20-19 all-time in bowls; UF has won four straight and six of its last seven.

The BCS Bowls are pathetic this year - only the NC and the OSU/KS game look to be good. A 5-loss Wisconsin and NIU making it is disgusting - if the winner of the big ten is ineligible it shouldn't go to the next best team in the conf it should go to the next best team in the nation.

Later today, Mike Gundy will be announced as the new Head Coach of my Arkansas Razorbacks! This is an excellent hire. He can recruit Texas & Oklahoma, which is HUGE for Arkansas's future success because of our tiny in-state talent pool. As long as he brings in a good DC, this will be make Arkansas a legitimate SEC contender. Plus, he's a grown man!
