I still think it will be Bama vs Oregon in the National Championship game.

In other news, Today the Gators failed to clinch the SEC East (Because UGA won) as a result - my trolling level of homerism will be tempered.

I don't think Bama gets there if K State, Oregon, and Notre Dame are all undefeated. I can't see how anyone could justify giving TWO undefeated teams the shaft over a team that lost once and came very close to losing another.

That's not being a hater. Notre Dame's defense is exceptional, but they're a very beatable team. If USC can stay out of its own way, they should be able to dominate Notre Dame because their offense is so good.

If the computer rankings hold, the SEC won't be able to get there if both Oregon and K State go undefeated. The computers really like both of those teams compared to any other team in the rankings. It would be very difficult for the SEC champ to leapfrog into the top 2.

He looked really good today, though Iowa's D is horrid, so makes it a little harder to gauge. Still, looks like UM shouldn't miss a beat once DR is gone.

Not likely. Ferentz is guaranteed another $17M or so on his contract. Iowa seriously shot themselves in the foot with his contract.
