He had a pretty good play early on, knifing in the backfield for a TFL. |

If we didn't need a DE so bad I'd like Barrett Jones more _________________

Mingo and Montgomery have been somewhat disappointing tonight.
-North Texas' tackles stopped them dead on the majority of pass plays
-Limited pass rush and zero pass rush moves. Bull rush only and was not effective
-Mingo is very athletic and instinctive but needs to put on 10lbs of muscle by April to play in our 4-3.
-North Texas struggled to run the ball when both Sam and KeKe were in the game. When they were subbed out it showed.
-They were surprisingly better against the run than the pass. Mingo had one pressure, two tackles and one TFL while Montgomery had maybe one tackle.
-Although Montgomery's stats didn't show it, he was very stout against the run and performed his assignments to the tee, crashing down the line and blowing up blockers.
I expected more against North Texas but Montgomery looks to be an all around better player right now than Mingo but Mingo has a lot of upside with all that athleticism. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

we're gonna have to wait a year or two, but i agree.
him or duke johnson from the U, wow that dude can play
in 2-3 years I want to be able to be in the saints or packers position, where we draft guys to add depth and create problems. (Mark Ingram comes to mind for the saints, randall cobb for the packers.) _________________

Also if people are looking at Mingo and like his abilities I would also look at Dion Jordan

CLEMSON!!!! 1-0 baby, Future 2012-2013 ACC champs, National Champs
I am curious to watch Tajh Boyd continue to grow, Andre Ellington secure himself as a 1st round RB, and of course our star Sammy Watkins once he comes back. Also look for DeAndre Hopkins to have a big year. _________________

Well yeah there are some scrubs on the field but I think that probably why it is more exciting to watch, except of course the SEC. There is nothing better than a college football game against two potent offenses tearing up the field against each other!! I love football season! _________________

All of the top DEs have been pretty average. Didn't get to watch FSU with Werner and Jenkins or Texas with Jeffcoat and Okafor though. _________________
