Wayne Hunter and Barry Richardson are the possible RT's on this team...

I'm praying some OT of value gets cut and we scoop him up ASAP...

Fluker is not a 1st round pick. And I'm not as high on Woods right now as some others.

Oohhhh... My... God....

We went out of our way to acquire Wayne Hunter. He's absolute trash. Jason Smith ain't too good either but Wayne Hunter is literally awful. I hate this trade.

Here is to proving me wrong Wayne.

But I highly doubt he will.

Swapping garbage RT and saving money in the process. Next year McDonald and a WR in the 1st and an OT in the 2nd sounds great to me.

I like Eric Reid more than both, especially if we are sticking with this Cover 2 thing. His ability to stick with WRs deep, and cover TEs shallow as well as be able to play the run are really appealing.

The great angles he takes, and his understanding/reading the offense are what I like most though.

Both of their salaries are guaranteed. Maybe the plan was to cut Smith and pay him 4 million, and now the plan is still to cut Hunter but at a cheaper price.

He'll probably still be a back up, just saying this doesnt mean he's guaranteed a roster spot, just guaranteed less $$ than Smith was.

PS - Guaranteed and Restaurant are 2 words I'll never be able to spell without looking at them 10 times...

I like Jefferson a lot as well. He has very good range and is good in coverage but the one thing I don't like about him is his tackling. It seems like instead of taking on a ball carrier and driving through them that he's always diving at their ankles and trying to trip them up.

He's my favorite FS for OUR SITUATION though

im leaning towards they didnt want to pay him a crap load of money. so im not to sure who this guy is but from reading what everyone else is saying about him i just pray he doest get sam killed this year but who knows maybe our line coach can whip him into something manageable.

Honestly, I'm glad they were able to get rid of Smith while they still had the chance, just for the sake of finance. I never liked that pick from the beginning. The only thing that made me like that draft was taking Laurinaitis in the 2nd, which wouldn't have happened if if they took the prospect I wanted in Aaron Curry, and drafting Fletcher in the 3rd. Then again, most guys in that class in the first round seemed to have disappoint. I really don't think there were too many options, unless they had reached down and grabbed BJ Raji.
