Thanks for running this, TR! This was a real cool game...had fun taking part in it. I thought we'd have a few guys flirting with 2000 by now...this was harder than it sounded.

Sure thing! It really highlights how the NFL is becoming a pass-happy league with fewer and fewer true feature backs. vd did a similar contest in the Vikes forum with QBs and attempting to get 5000+ yards for the season. There are 2-3 contestants within range, but no one is close to a 2000+ yard rushing season.

Maybe we'll go WRs next year, although they seem even more hit-and-miss than RBs.

These would be the correct answers:

Week 1: C.J. Spiller (169 yards)
Week 2: Reggie Bush (172 yards)
Week 3: Jamaal Charles (233 yards)
Week 4: Brandon Bolden (137 yards)
Week 5: Ahmad Bradshaw (200 yards)
Week 6: Shonn Greene (161 yards)
Week 7: Chris Johnson (195 yards)
Week 8: Stevan Ridley (127 yards)
Week 9: Doug Martin (251 yards)
Week 10: Marshawn Lynch (124 yards)
Week 11: LaRod Stephens-Howling (127 yards)
Week 12: Steven Jackson (139 yards)
Week 13: Bryce Brown (169 yards)
Week 14: Alfred Morris (129 yards)
Week 15: Adrian Peterson (212 yards)
Week 16: Bernard Pierce (123 yards)

2668 yards going into Week 17.. I'll just go back in time and make those picks.

I was saving Doug Martin for this week... but I think I'm going to have to keep him on the bench. I'll take Alfred Morris this week. (Too bad about Forte leaving early last week... coulda ran away with it then).
