Based on my count, there are 45 'guaranteed' (players not appearing on this post) and 8 'open' roster spots (including punter) on the Lions 53 man squad (not counting 2 spots open for 'temporary' fill-ins for assumed LeShoure/Fairley suspensions). Who do you think will get carried from this list of 31, currently on the 75-player roster (someone is yet to be cut for CB Kevin Barnes), below?

1) Travis Lewis LB/ST
2) Dylan Gandy C/G
3) Ryan Donahue P
4) Ricardo Silva S/ST
5) Justin Miller CB/ST
6) Joique Bell RB/ST
7) Doug Hogue LB/ST
8) Nate Hughes WR/ST

HM -tough to let go- Andre Fluellen DT, Everette Brown DE, Reshard Langford CB, Maurice Stovall WR, Kassim Osgood WR, WR Lance Long, Dan Gerberry C, Alphonso Smith CB, Stefan Logan RB, Ben Graham P

PS (hopefuls) Patrick Edwards WR , Jonte Green CB, Rodney Austin OG, Alex Gottleib TE, Carmen Messina LB, Kellen Moore QB, Ross Weaver CB, waiver option player

Don't-let-the-door-hit-you-on-the-way-out
Wallace Miles WR
Pat Boyle OG
Alex Gottleib TE
Tracy Robertson DT
Edmon McClam DE
Ugo Chinasa DE

id like to see siliva stick around. he has had 2 pretty good camps in a row. lber spot is the most interesting to me. how many and who. id also think about keep 6 wrs. they been looking set at running 4 wideouts. lance "lets dance" long would fit nice as a 4 if someone were to go down. you know once broyles stubbs his toe staff will sit him. and they are playing him like hes not close yet. osgood wouldnt fit a 4 imo
