Pros: Secondary goes from terrible and in disarray to somewhat legitimate and provides the Vikes with 2 potential shutdown corners
Cons: Destroys any chance of the Vikes rebuilding the offense for the next 2 years, leaves some holes on both sides of the ball.

No non-QB is worth that kind of trade. |

Adrian Peterson to the giants for Amakamura and their first and second picks in next year's draft.
a second round pick for Dansby and a fifth |
I am not that opposed to trading Adrian Peterson, but finding someone to pick up the contract at all would be an issue. And there's probably a huge cap charge involved if you have to pay him all the bonus money he's due. _________________

Trade 2nd round pick to Dallas for Dez Bryant.
Pros: Gives us a strong 3 set at WR. Bryant is a legit down the field threat who can make some amazing plays.
Cons: Not exactly the brightest bulb out there. Would demand a huge contract. _________________

Ew. no thanks. I want nothing to do with that headcase. I'd rather sign TO. _________________

I would offer a good package for Darrelle Revis.
Revis/Cook/Robinson/Winfield
Wavie everyone else, and maybe keep Sherels.
For this team to be successful with Ponder at QB, we need a top defense.
Revis/Allen goes a long way into doing that.
I wouldnt give 2 1st + 2 2nd, but I like the idea.
I would put Robinson into the deal + picks
An offense can appear to look better, when you have a strong defense, which gives your QB more chances. _________________

Adrian Peterson to Dallas for Sean Lee and Dez Bryant.
And yes, I would still take Bryant, despite his issues. _________________

I could see that happening.
But I guess SF would want a better deal than that. Conditional 5th, or maybe just do a 2nd this year, and a 3rd next?
Bowman is awesome. MLB is such a weak link right now, Bowman would instantly improve us over the middle. _________________

I am not sure why the 49ers would have any interest in trading one of their better defensive players. Probably a far from even likely scenario. |

I guess they'd really have to be impressed with Larry Grant (3rd MLB) to even consider it.
Plus, San Francisco isn't rebuilding, but if they had a bad year, I could see them shipping him for that price, and then using those picks (plus their own picks) to select a QB in the next draft.
Weak scenario, but fun to look at. _________________

Same as always. Trade Jared Allen while his value is still very high.
The cold honest truth is there is a strong chance that we don't improve this season which will seal the fate of Fraizer and his 4-3 cover-2 along with him. _________________

I think if we are not prepared to trade Jared Allen while his value is still very high, we should be trading for additional players to "win-now"
This in the middle business will lead to low success. _________________
