He has all the tools to succeed. Just need some coaching. Much like we wanted to do with Skelton when we drafted him.

Well I have not seen any of his throws today. But he is not going to get into the top two and he has shown enough before this game to pretty much lock down the #3 spot with his numbers so far. |
He had really good pocket presence in that Floyd TD throw. There was pressure, he moved up and to the right, threw the ball on the move and scored a TD. Again, I know it is preseason and I am not getting carried away in saying this but that was a big time play by Lindley and that is a good sign to see from a rookie.

He was 34 of 66 for 2 int before this game. He been up and down like in college. |
That's a bit depressing. He was my mancrush during his junior year & I was really hoping he'd improve during his senior year, but he didn't. Hopefully NFL coaches will help him develop.

i also think we need a new center so my opinion is a bit weird but my god feely sucks
btw this never hit a woman commercial...what if you walk in and your wife is drowing your child can you hit her then? just thinking outloud here

D'Anthony Batiste has the starting left tackle job wrapped up. It is not even close. DJ Young is not getting it done.
Here is the thing I keep seeing that Young is doing wrong. He has made numerous mistakes allowing the outside man to rush the passer because right when the ball is snapped, he jumps to help the left guard with his guy while the guy that is on his left side and obviously rushing is left an open lane to rush the QB, which always immediately blows the play up and the QB is sacked or someone like William Powell is left to take on a defensive end, and it is obviously not the running back's fault in that situation when he can't sustain the block. This particular mistake has been made on at least 5 times off the top of my head. It is so disappointing to see him do this over and over again.
