I still wouldn't have a problem with Te'o if he was the pick. Lining up beside Timmons would be a nice combo.
However, I'm going with Williams. I like his motor and he is versatile enough to play end if need be. With Hampton most likely gone he can step right in and be a stalwart there for many years like Big Snack was for the team. He can even play FB on goal line situations as well. Having a stud NT is vital to a 3-4 and he's a good selection. Not my first pick as I orginally went with Okafor but he was my second choice as of right now. _________________

| You know what? I actually hope you guys pick Teo in the first and he sits on the bench all season and does nothing like many of us full expect him to. Wasting a pick on him here when you can have Williams/Vaccaro or ___ defensive player here is just silly. Steeler fans I know are always talking about how they want their "old" dominant defense back from years past. Wasting a first pick on Te'o isn't going to give you anything but a media circus, and the same "defense"(if you want to call it that) that couldn't stop Alabama from setting record rushing yards on them. He completed the day with 3 tackles(all in the 4th Q) after missing multiple reads and not shedding blocks. People are so high off his "intangibles" that he doesn't have, that they can't see he will not be some kind of defensive field general like they think. I do not see him as a Ray Lewis, Pwilly, or even an Urlacher. Like many said last season he wasn't even the best person on his team much less a Heisman candidate. Picking a player in the first round means out of ALL the drafted players you don't think there is a better one you could pick at the moment to fit your needs and playstyle. SURELY you could do better with all this selection than Teo, the draft is like a toybox to play with. There are plenty of better players in the draft than Teo. |

| Te'o easily. If he doesn't go here, he should fall to the bottom of round 1. |

I am fine with either of these, just so that people don't make the Colts draft one of them.
I'll go with Williams. _________________

It's pretty much primarily the non-steeler fans really voting Teo I think. Jesse Williams has been by far the most popular first rounder on the Steeler forum mocks and our discussions on picking Teo usually imply that guys like Williams, Hankins and Ansah are off the board already.
That said, odds are very high that whoever we pick on defense is going to "sit on the bench all season" because Lebeau almost never starts rookies unless he absolutely must. _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.

I voted Te'o even though it looks like Williams is going to win easily. _________________

This isn't even close. A top 10-ish guy in Williams or a mid-2nd guy in Te'o. Hmmmm, imma go with Williams. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!
