Let's hear some updated, finalized rosters.
Here's mine:
Offense
QB: Russell Wilson // Matt Flynn
RB: Marshawn Lynch // Robert Turbin // Leon Washington
FB: Michael Robinson // Kregg Lumpkin
WR: Sidney Rice // Braylon Edwards // Doug Baldwin // Golden Tate // Ben Obomanu // Deon Butler
TE: Zach Miller // Kellen Winslow // Anthony McCoy
OT: Russell Okung // Breno Giacomini // Frank Omiyale
OG: John Moffitt // Pat McQuistin // JR Sweezy // James Carpenter
OC: Max Unger // Lemuel Jeanpierre
Defense
DE: Chris Clemons // Red Bryant // Bruce Irvin // Greg Scruggs // Cordarro Law
DT: Brandon Mebane // Jason Jones // Alan Branch // Jaye Howard // Clinton McDonald
LB: KJ Wright // Bobby Wagner // Leroy Hill // Korey Toomer // Mike Morgan // Heath Farwell
S: Earl Thomas // Kam Chancellor // Jeron Johnson // Winston Guy
CB: Richard Sherman // Brandon Browner // Marcus Trufant // Jeremy Lane // Walter Thurmond // Byron Maxwell // Phillip Adams
Special Teams
P: Jon Ryan
K: Steven Hauschka
LS: Clint Gresham
Practice Squad
QB Josh Portis
OG Rishaw Johnson
WR Ricardo Lockette
WR Charly Martin
TE Sean McGrath
WR Kris Durham
FS DeShawn Shead
LB Allen Bradford
Notes
- I think Thurmond and Carp start the season on the PUP list. Phillip Adams and Clinton McDonald take their spots on the roster for the first 6 weeks. After that, whoever is playing worse out of Adams/Maxwell and McDonald/Howard are cut.
- I think Mike Morgan has shown he deserves a spot on this roster as a guy that could truly play all 3 spots on the team. Between Toomer and Malcolm Smith, Toomer has the better size and more potential and less injury history. That's why Smith is cut.
- Maragos is close to making the roster, but was really battling Jeron Johnson. Johnson played great and Guy is guaranteed a spot on the roster. Unfortunately he played in 11 games last season, which means he is ineligible for the practice squad.
- I filled all 8 PS spots, but it's possible we get a player dropped from another team in one of those slots.
- Team could very easily roll with 3 QBs again on the active roster, though I'd prefer they didn't.
- Lumpkin is more versatile than Taua so I think we choose him.
- 6 WRs make the team which is really the minimum for me right now. Have another 3 on the PS.
- Depth at OT is still an issue. Omiyale is nothing more than a 1 year rental. This will be something we need to draft for in 2013.
- This team is stacked. _________________

The Butler release wasn't a huge surprise to me, Butler was caught up in between the other WRs, He wasn't a big body, he wasn't a burner, he wasn't a STs guy, and Baldwin & Tate can handle the slot, so it was just a numbers game with Butler, My best guess where he'll end up is either the Dolphins or the Rams maybe even the Browns. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

Agree but Butler seemed like he showing signs of being a solid player after his injury. He will have no problem making another team. I was gaining more confidence in Butler than Tate as the pre-season grew. Tate can make the circus catch but nothing so far to show other than effort. |

A little surprised to see Butler cut, especially with Tate suffering some kind of knee injury last night. It must not be very serious or they wouldn't take a chance, because Butler will end up on an NFL roster this year. I'd rather not see him in a Rams uniform. I'd be ok with the Dolphins, they are desperate for a WR and it would give him a chance to get a lot of reps, which can only help him develop and continue to come back from his leg injury. NFL. com only has the Durham cut listed so far on their tracker, but they are probably waiting to confirm these cuts instead of reporting rumors which are likely true but unconfirmed. _________________ “They were threatened by my intelligence and too stupid to know that’s why they hated me.”

Looks like practice squad unless another Team claims me within 24 hours but thankful to still be apart of the seattle Seahawks #12man #83 |

He has the speed, he has the size, but he couldn't be consistent with his hands, hopefully he can make it back to the PS. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk

Sucks to see Deon cut. Really humble player. He'll find a job somewhere else.
And I definitely think that Martin makes the team now. _________________
