Mental or his skills?
I feel like if he was mentally in the game he would at least make a decent backup.
Its a shame. At least Jackson gets a shot because he does want to play.

Why so generous in your description?
Vince is simply not good enough. Not physically, not mentally, and not emotionally. He's really not much better now than in 2007 or 2009, and he wasn't any good then. At this point he's no longer a young guy with potential who just needs the right situation; he's a guy who has been around the block and just can't do the job.
Has there been confirmation that Jackson is being handed Young's job? |

It's both of those things, and his emotions, too. He struggles mightily at the first hint of problems, he doesn't seem to read defenses very well, and, IMO, his physical skills are nothing incredible. He's no longer a threat to run because he's made of glass, he's never been able to throw the short passes effectively, and his long passes are nothing amazing. |
