I'm kind of surprised that Carpenter isn't on the practice squad. Maybe we are going to put in a waiver claim on another developmental QB. _________________

On a side note really glad that Coale cleared waivers. Would have really thought that somebody would have claimed in off of his potential and upside alone.
I am really shocked that Hamilton wasn't brought back in. I think he would be much better developmental guy than Olawale. _________________

I could see Hamilton being sign to the practice squad after Cochart is cut and a guy from the PS get moved onto the 53 man roster. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

On May 9th, 2013, Brian Price was waived by the Dallas Cowboys. |

I thought Orie did a great job and was a great guy to have on the PS and continue developing _________________

I really think that TE the Boys claimed is holding that spot for Coale once he's 100% and ready full go. I can't see the Boys carring 4 TE's on game day for the full season. _________________

As others have said, great news all around, minus losing Hamilton. Like srsly bro?
EDIT: I do think Hamilton is being overrated on this board, though. He had a good preseason, but it wasn't like Tanner's last year, where it was so good that you just had to keep the guy. No, he just made a few plays against some 3rd stringers. He's mostly regarded highly due to his collegiate sack numbers, is he not? Well, Lyle Leong (who??) led the NCAA in receiving touchdowns a couple years ago. He went undrafted, was a camp body for Dallas and that was that on his career. Hamilton's probably got more of a future than that, but stats are no way to evaluate a prospect. _________________

That would give us 7 receivers though. Not sure they want to do that _________________

Coale 53, then Hamilton to PS. I could see it. _________________
