I like this deal for the team. Davis immediately improves our defense. Going to be interesting if this is a move that makes us a competitive football team next year.

Just curious to know how Vontae has done in Indy so far. I haven't heard anything one way or the other.

| Vontae had a bad game week 1 against the Bears, though our whole secondary played bad. I heard something to the fact that Davis allowed a perfect passer rating either against the Bears or in combination between the Bears and Vikings games. Don't know for sure but definitely doesn't ensure any confidence when we follow next week's the bye week with the Packers. (Wouldn't be surprised if the Packers passing game wakes up against the Colts) |

I hope he turns it around for you all. I never thought he was as good as many of my fellow Dolphin fans thought, but I also think he is good. Even very good. He just needs a coach that can light a fire under his rear. He has the skill set, he just needs the drive to win. Anyway, good luck with him, and I may check in again later. I suspect he will improve as he adjusts to his new home.
