Not a troll, it was my opinion. I think T.O. is still better, he's been out the league for a year. Needed more then two weeks to knock the rust off

No I saw it. I think his ability to play special teams is why he has a roster spot. But correct me if I'm wrong, he hasn't played up to his potential as a 1st round draft pick as a WR

2nd, but that's okay. All of the skill in the world (think Steve Smith), but hasn't mastered route running and how to be a professional. Has tore up TC, and is still a high risk high reward type guy. The story on Golden Tates career will be written in the next 3 years.

Some interesting releases. Does cutting Morrah mean we are keeping McCoy? I really hope not, he cant catch a football to save his life. I expected us to keep Lewis to play in the nickel, but I guess Trufant must me impressing in that role. From the reports, it sounded like Barron was performing well, but I guess not. Im not very surprised about the other two.

I keep reading they like what McCoy can do as a more traditional TE, especially considering Winslow really isn't one. They wanted two traditional TE's on the roster.

My guess would be they're expecting to keep Lane if they let Roy Lew go.

Appreciate the updates, but let's either change the thread to Seahawks cut to 75 or keep it in the HoT.

OHHH ok, I thought he was a 1st round pick and I thought much more was expected from him (becoming a starting WR). Do you think Tate is better then Baldwin right now at WR.

If Golden turns out to be a Steve Smith type player you guys would be even more tough to deal with

Well that's one off of my prediction list, I hope the rest follow suit

I think we're gonna wait til after next week to see what we have in tunei, kearse, Martin, bates, butler and obomanu. Only one of those guys will make the team with a slight possibility of another on the PS

You think that we're only keeping 5 receivers for sure? I'd rather keep 6, with it being

Rice
Edwards
Baldwin
Tate

Butler
Obo/Martin

Of course he hasn played like a 1st round pick....he's a second round pick Laughing He's made more plays in out of preseason than TO did....outside of special teams.

Knocking the rust off is a drop here and a drop there, along with making plays. He had one fortunate catch and that's just not enough. This team is about competition, you have to fight just like everyone else
