Was it? Looked like we blitzed quite often. I know Willis got stood up on a blitz once or twice. |
Meh, even when we blitz we rarely send more than four. Just different players.

well there was nothing confusing. Just sending MLB at a guard isnt anything special still only rushing 4. No twists from the ends or anything that was successful last season. |

Carlos Rogers did struggle today. But FWIW, here's Lynch's explanation on his struggles so far

Our defense is fine... offense still is in the 60's, though.

Ya, I'm not worried about defense as much as offense. I hope we're really not showing anything yet.

You're going to see how much smoother the play-calling is when Kaepernick gets in the game.

I think the oline is the most worrisome.
Wish we drafted solutulu or another guard. Then if Davis wasn't improving out Boone there and we would be okay.
Almost every preseason game our oline was getting beat.

Harbaugh was trying really hard not to show his hand, but when Denver onside kicked i think that pissed him off a bit, thats where that VD touchdown came from lol, at least in my mind that's what im going with =p

According to Harbaugh, Ginn may miss week 1. Which means Williams for punts, and Jenkins would likely be guaranteed to suit up.
I've been impressed with Jenkins lately. Showed some good burst on that reverse, and had a tough catch in traffic. With his speed+ separation, he gets open too. If he gets an opportunity week 1, i think he could shine.

I'd love for AJ to carve out a niche early and gain some experience this season.
