I just heard on nfl sirius that the ravens cut Billy Cundiff in favor of their young kicker, Turner I think.
I think this an obvious question but should the steelers sign him?
My answer is an emphatic YES! _________________

No. They got rid of Cundiff to save money. We need to do so far more than they do.
Neither Hrapmann or Suisham has missed a kick this preseason. _________________

| Cundiff's placekicking has been spotty at best other than 2010, not any better than Suisham's, also not significantly worse. After the kickoffs got moved up 5 yards Cundiffs value in kickoffs really dropped off IMO. |

Neither Hrapmann or Suisham has missed a kick this preseason. | I think you bring up a good point on cost. That would be the determining factor imo.
As for the other kicks, there ok but don't have the leg Cundiff has. _________________

What is this leg that he has? His longest kick is 56 yards. He has a huge leg, but his accuracy sucks from 50+ yards. He was a good kickoff guy, but since the kickoffs were moved to the 35, everyone and their mother is a good kickoff guy.
Also Hrapmann had a kick off go through the uprights and during warmups kicks 53-55 yarders with plenty of room to spare, and has a 59 yarder in a college game. If the Steelers want someone with leg, they'd go for him, no reason to spend money (which they don't have) on a has-been kicker from a rival team. _________________

If the team is leaning Suisham right now, yes...
if they are leaning Hrapmann, no...because salary cap has to be the primary factor in that decision.
Cundiff is >> Suisham. They both choke on occasion, but Cundiff is an overall better kicker, I think.
How has Cundiff been on Heinz Field...that should also be factored in. _________________

Cundiff, at best, is a lateral move from Suisham.

Cundiff does not have the leg people think he does, nor does he have any sort of accuracy from 50+ yards.
While I do think he's better than Suisham, it's not enough of an upgrade to make it worth it IMO. I think you guys should stay put. _________________
