If it was confirmed, maybe.
This is just a kneejerk reaction, which as I said, couldve gone in the gameday thread. _________________

Agreed, and I'm very concerned about how it looked but without any kind of confirmation this is just described as above and unless you're getting some kind of points that we don't know about for starting threads there is little value to this except for a need to say you "started the thread"/ I told you so. _________________

Title should be changed to DD injury unless it was confirmed as a season ender...
Anyways, if anyone gets an update, please post them. Thanks. _________________ "If you think you are too small to make a difference, you have never been in bed with a mosquito." Anita Roddick |

I did not get a good view of it, but I did not see anything obvious, like a knee buckling to the side, or anyone roll up on his knee. Why wasn't he wearing knee braces? His college tapes he has them on both knees. _________________

The NFL channel's bottom line is reporting a "source with knowledge on the subject" is reporting an injury to the MCL and ACL is he will be out "Awhile".
That's 2 OL Gilbert has fallen on and injured. _________________

I don't have any info on the reason for his wearing the braces in college but I do know that those braces are often worn to provide stability while in their pre-snap stance and not because of former injuries. I don't know if that's the case for DD but it's possible. _________________

I always see guys in college with those knee braces, without former injuries. If they help your knee remain stable, why wouldn't they be worn at this level? _________________

Not 100% sure why DeCastro wears a brace, but it should be noted Jim Harbaugh even has his QBs wearing them. _________________

That's right. Even Luck wore a brace at least on his plant foot at Stanford didn't he. Damn it all. Those are million dollar knees, wear it.
