Man yall got some mess up laws in the states.

Here in canada... well Saskatchewan the province I live in the drinking age is 19. And I was in the bar at 16 all the time and never got carded. Now that im almost 27(on monday) I get carded all the time, but laws have gotten a lot stricter if minors are cought in the bar. Bad for the owners not the minnor.

And just 45 min drive from where I live to the privince of Alberta the drinking age is 18 lol. And the ID's look the same from when you get your lerners licence till leagal age.... ya its so messed how different the two counterys are in this aspect.

Still waiting for marijuana laws to lift here though....

Legal drinking age (unaccompanied by a parent) here in Britain is 18. Realistically, I was drinking beer and wine at family meals in restaurants from about 14, then out drinking with friends in less-strict pubs, house parties and in parks (with supplies from less-bothered off licenses, older siblings and cool parents from about 16). Never did understand why they'd let you drive a car (which has the potential to seriously injure other people) before they would allow you to get a round in.

Get this one: in Illinois, there's no law requiring motorcyclists to wear helmets, but the Illinois Department of Transportation has a huge "Start Seeing Motorcycles" and "Watch for Motorcycles" campaign, telling other drivers to be more responsible about not hitting them.

I think you are stupid for not wear a helmet while on a hog or rice rocket.

But now that I think about it I never wear a helmet on my quad and I can get verry stupid on it lol.

I got denied with a 21, but still vertical, ID. It sucked. I mean, it was fake, but still.

Yeah I got mine in less than 20 minutes It think, but still cost me $30.

I was denied alcohol at a liquor store in my early 20s (21 or 22) because I accidentally ran my wallet through the washer and a tiny corner of my driver's license chipped off. It didn't make any portion of the license illegible; it was just a little corner of white space. I read somewhere about how something like that legally makes your DL invalid, even though it had previously been accepted as valid by dozens of stores and a police officer or two.

They were probably just hit with a ticket for selling to a minor with a fake and weren't taking any chances. That's probably the case in my situation as well.

Anyone interested in drafting their own fictional cast and story for a movie?

Come check out the "Make a Movie Draft".

If we've done 21 of them, its probably decent.

My parents' neighborhood had a bunch of trees down.

I worked during it at a golf course.
We couldn't do anything but get the flag staffs off the holes and the boss wasn't there so we rigged the throttles in the carts to go like twice as fast and he raced around the course. I almost got air on a hill. Hopefully the damage to the grounds will be blamed on the storm.

So I got a Sodastream for Father's Day a few weeks back and I am totally hooked. I wasn't sure how much I'd use it but I am using it constantly, and not just making pop. Their energy drink tastes like Red Bull, and it makes water with Mio in it taste better too. I even made my kids some carbonated Koolaid which was actually pretty awesome.

It's Popstream.

Doesn't matter what they call it. They could call it Yellowstream for all I care. It makes good non-alcoholic drinks. Haven't tried them yet adding booze. It is the weekend though...
