No surprise Session ended up on PUP. I'm a little surprised about Chick though - they must believe he has a little something left o they would have just waived him injured.
Hopefully those two can give the defense a boost in the second half of the season.

Also, really sucks we lose Estes and Spitz already, our depth at the interior is non-existent

He moved from DT to OG for first time ever just days before a game after Rackley/Spitz injuries and he was solid. I think they see developmental potential for him at OG. His aforementioned versatility also helps.

I'm actually happy to see Session put on PUP. That would mean there's at least a chance that he will be able to recover.

I just keep thinking about the hope we had for Kampman, I do wish Clint comes back though too, I'm guessing Russell starts in his place?

I'm more worried about his health for him than I am him playing again.
And yes, Russell Allen will start, with Brandon Marshall probably getting a decent amount of snaps every game rotating in. Or at least that's what I'd expect.

dont get me wrong, I dont want him to be another statistic of guys whose lives are never the same after football, wasnt meant to be insensitive or anything, just figured we were talking football. Does Marshall offer anything blitz-wise on 3rd downs?

He offers very nice raw talent and athleticism. I'm sure he'll get opportunities in certain packages with the opportunity to earn more playing time if he shines.
He'll play a bunch of special teams though.

Mularkey said on his show that you will see Proz on the field with Lowery and Landry.
Maybe in a big nickel like the Giants do with Antrel Rolle, where he pays the slot/LB?
He really likes how he's played in camp and in the pre session games, including his coverage.

He did some of that last season, basically playing free safety while Lowery moved up to the nickel. I'm sure this is just an expansion of that.
