OKAY I can't stand them almost as bad as Donkeys or KC, but I walked into a Chilli's and ordered some food to go and that was when they took the lead...The place eurpted and it reminded me of the SF Giants two championships recently...I'm a Raider fan, but I also like ENERGY and PASSION and quite frankly the happy positive vibes are just more enjoyable.  Why I keep hooking up with that one chick as it always goes towards 'bad vibes' yet I digress...
I'm happy for the 'other' fans in the area. To see them happy, excited and passionate...So I say GO 9ers!!! Especially if it's against the Pats!!! I just hate them against anybody...I'm bitter for the 'tuck' I'm bitter for the spygate, I'm bitter for 5 TE's I'm bitter we have yet to see the playoffs in more than a decade, but I'm damn well happy for those who get to be happy now...WE WILL be back on top again. Hopefully sooner than later and if DA becomes our Singltary, then I'm cool with that too... |

Serious question: who do we root for in the SB if New England wins?
Too many annoying Giants fans on FB... now its the same for the Niners. But I'll never forgive the tuck rule, even though Brady is one of the all time greats

Agree. I hold no grudge against the 9ers. I'm happy for them, their fans and, being a Bay Area boy for the 1st half of my life, I can't help feeling good about them being in the SB. Plus, I remember way back when the Raiders were the big dogs and the 9ers were only worthy of pity.
We have a deep hole to climb out of but it will happen...eventually. |

My friends Dad was such a big 9ers fan before Montana. He passed away 5 years ago ,but we brought his 'ashes' down with the urn to watch last weeks game. His granddaughter ( 8 ) even made a go 49ers picture...
We said if they make it to the bowl we're dressing up the urn in gear and throwing a party...I will root for my rival because of what that rival ment to someone else.
I lived in Colorado and San Diego and never rooted for them. SD happened to be when we were in the SB. Almost got into a fight with some Raider fans partying in the Gaslamp. They thought I was a TB fan because my shirt had red and black in it. I told them I was a Raider fan before they were born  Of course nothing happened as they were all talk... |

Oh believe me, I hate them with every fiber of my baseball being. But SF crept up to #3 on my hate list.
And I will be a Californian within a few years.

Who are the guys in suits that you typically see after the game always seeming to tell the players what to do next? I just saw one that Ray Lewis was admitly saying 'no' to?
