Do you still think Suh is better than McCoy? Suh burst onto the scene while McCoy struggled as a rookie before getting hurt. McCoy looked solid last year before tearing his biceps early in the season. Now in his third season McCoy is wreaking havoc in opposing teams backfeild and as Buc fans will say is the MVP of our team. Here are the career and season stats side by side. I know most people are guna say Suh, but I wana give some love to Gerald McCoy hes been playing great.
Career
Suh-110 Tackles, 16.5 sacks, 1 FF, 34 games played
McCoy-50 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 FF, 23 games played
2012
Suh-8 tackles, 2.5 sacks
McCoy-11 tackles, 1 FF, 3 sacks |

Suh had a down year last year, but he's been extremely effective again in 2012. It's much closer now than it was in 2010, but I still take Spears. _________________

| Yeah, no. Suh is still on another level than McCoy. Still McCoy is coming into his own now as he's finally healthy (knock on wood). He has rare talent and I've been impressed with the McCoy-Claiborne tandem (sorry :[ ). He's definitely someone to watch. |

I liked both of them as prospects but it's pretty blatant that Suh is the better player for now at least. _________________

Man o man.. I i believe that right now..
McCoy is anchoring his defense better.
But Suh should get the benefit of the doubt
from his rookie year..
But the Gap has closed IMO.. It's no
longer the audacity that It once was to
choose Mccoy. _________________

I'm still taking Suh, but with Mccoy being healthy and Kong not playing as well as he did his rookie so the gap is closing imo _________________

Suh is still better at this point. But McCoy is playing great this year. Hopefully he stays healthy.
Anyways Geno Atkins is the best of the 3 right now _________________

Boy o boy, I remember the McCoy vs Alualu threads and I would actually vote for Alualu. Now he is horrendous.
What'd I do now to have a guy like Geno Atkins or McCoy next to Knighton.
Sigh.. _________________

McCoy would have been a household name, if he wasn't in the draft with Suh.
I still like Suh. _________________

It appears that after recovering from a few nagging injuries, he has decided to continue to play like he has nagging injuries.
Gets bullied by strong guards and pushed back often, and hardly ever does what he was supposed to be good at- rush the passer. _________________
