| I'd rather we get injured now and then get everyone back healthy for the latter half of the season rather than start the season healthy then fizzle out due to injuries late. |

Plax had that in 07, right?
The injuries haven' been so bad. They just seem that way with last year's luck. _________________

Couple of thoughts from last night, I watched the game at work, so I saw it only in spots:
-Eli looked like he was in mid season form. I fully expect out offense to hit the ground running in the season opener against a Dallas D that still has a lot of question marks and new pieces.
-David Wilson is going to be a player in this league. Bradshaw is solid, and Wilson is going to be a great change of pace back. I think he'll be our biggest play maker out of the back field since Tiki.
-I've come to terms that the O-line is going to be a headache all year. Let's hope they can piece it together like last year, but I think we might have to spend a high pick on a tackle next year. With us having to lock up Nicks, Cruz and JPP I just don't know if there will be money to throw at a big time talented tackle.
-If our D stays healthy, I think it could be scary good. No team can match up with JPP, Osi and Tuck. Can't wait to see third and longs with those 3 on the field.
-Our run defense was amazing last night. Two guys that really stood out to me at least were Linval Joesph and Kiwi. Joesph isn't a playmaker, but he's just really, really solid in the middle of that line. Kiwi was all over the field last night. Just so pleased with his transition to line backer.
-I think Keith Rivers, if he can stay healthy, can have a nice little niche with this team. Don't know if he'll be an every down linebacker, but I can see with his athleticism why he was such a high pick.
-Prince might be made of glass. Just looked like a routine play and even watching the replay not sure how he sprained his ankle.
-Last night was the biggest measuring stick of what we're in for during the regular and I think our starters out played the Bears starters. I really think we'll win this division again. We just have the most solid team in the division. Between Dallas' D and injury concerns about Vick I think over a full season we'll prove to be the best team. Really looking forward to some meaningful football. _________________

To win the division we have to say reasonably healthy. Especially on the D-line. D-line has always covered up weakness in the secondary. _________________
