Rams
VS
Cowboys
What to Watch For
Austin Pettis
He has been looking pretty good in preseason as well as camp. He might very well be a good #2 receiver for the Rams this year. He's getting more separation, he's extending himself more, and he even looks a little faster (which was one of his cons coming out of college)
Jerome Murphy
Even though he's not technically a safety, I'm really hoping he officially makes the transition to the spot in the very near future. He has been everywhere, and it's looking like he could be a playmaker in Fisher's system as a nickel or a safety.
Vernon Gholston
I don't expect too much out of him this week, but I think we are all looking at the Rams most recent transaction. Bust would be an understatement for him, but maybe he could be serviceable in the defense?
Steven Jackson
We will be seeing a lot of him tomorrow, but what I'm most interested in seeing is if he can keep going with his new running style, and do it on a consistent basis. He's looked a lot faster over the last couple of years and hitting holes with authority.
Mike McNeil
He has been getting good playing time in the 3rd and 4th quarter, but I want to see more of him running with the 2nd team, or maybe even the first in a 2 TE package with Kendricks.
Daryl Richardson
After an impressive outing last week, many see a #2 RB controversy between Richardson and Pead. Pead did not look impressive last week, whereas Richardson shined. If anything, this is at least good competition to keep Pead on his toes. _________________

i say givens, quick, and the starting D line. the Cowboys O line is starting to look worse than ours and i think our boys will have a field day with romo and felix the cat. i even think Vernon Gholston will have a good game which will bring back his confidence hopefully. _________________ http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv308/jotto89/SamBradfordsig2.jpg |

| I'd like to see what the O-line finally looks like with Scott Wells in the lineup and I want to see Quick have a big game. |

On a serious note, I really wanna see what this team does this week. We are past the half way point of the pre-season.
I just really want to see how Kendricks does. IMO he is one the keys to this team this season.
Darian Stewart, I've heard he will be back. I think he is the future at SS for this Rams team.
Austin Pettis. Where has he come from, kid is playing really well right now. even though he has a couple game suspension coming his way at the start of the season. The kid is showing he wants on this team.
DeAngelo Peterson. I love the way he moves after he has the ball. Am I crazy for wanting to see what he can do with 1's?
Rok Watkins. Ok did anyone else see him blow that safety up last weekend? Dude is nasty in the trenches. _________________ Robert Quinn

Oh no, I'm in Little Rock and although I am lucky that this game is broadcast, is it a Dallas broadcast. This sucks. _________________

I'm going to make notes, drive by drive, for those who didn't get to see the game.
Cowboys Offense drive #1
Quinn got stiff armed by DeMarco Murray after manhandling the LT. The next play he applied pressure and forced a Romo throw away.
Brockers applied pressure up the middle on one play but didn't keep his feet.
Jenkins didn't hold up in press man against Ogletree, possibly slipped which left the sideline wide open.
DeMarco Murray made both JL-55 and McIntosh miss him in the open field on a check down throw.
The refs have made two terrible calls this rive, both which have gone in our favor.
The Cowboys settle for a field goal, but that drive was clearly won by them. _________________
