| Google is seemingly more useless than ever these days, as I can't even find an answer to this question no matter how many different ways I search for it. My question is how is possible to go into a BCS with a loss? Is it because it's impossible for a team to go undefeated, or is it because it just chooses who goes based off the rankings? I really don't understand the system at all. |

Right, but how come Alabama stayed so high and A&M was like 5. Yet they BEAT Alabama. And lost to a much more impressive team? |

How did Texas A&M lose to a much more impressive team? _________________

Oh ok, didn't know A&M had 2 losses. And by "impressive team" I was referring to not someone who was considered a BCS competitor. Before the season no one thought A&M would be anywhere near that ranking, so when they beat Alabama(the ONLY team that beat them) seems like they would have jumped a team like ND. It's obvious at the end that multiple teams could have beaten ND like Oregon, A&M, etc. |
