| i gotta say though, pretty pleased with the games we play at home. i could really see us surprising a lot of people this year. i said that last year too, but we caught a lot of tough breaks and beat ourselves. largest margin we lost by was 8 points. im excited for a new season with all the youngins gaining another year of experience along with the great frosh talent coming in. gonna be fun |

When it's about homecoming week, we should plan a meet up. A pregame meet up. And I mean pregame _________________

• Seantrel Henderson was on the scout team today.
• Gionni Paul's knee is bothering him and he's not cleared for contact.
• Curtis Porter will not travel to BC.
• Preston Dewey has a leg up for the #3 QB job.
• My favorite tidbit from today: While talking to the media today Denzel Perryman stated that his philosophy is, "just get to the ball and get nasty." Seems Miami hasn't had a LB with a nasty disposition is awhile, I was glad to hear that. _________________

Henderson seems like a waste of a scholarship up to this point. _________________

2 star Redshirt Freshman lineman Junior Alexis is no longer on the team. He redshirted last season to get his academics in order. No word on whether that is why he is no longer on the team. Wasn't going to contribute much, if at all this year; opens up another scholarship going forward. _________________

Whoa now, dont know about all of that. He was without a doubt the top prospect at the time in his class. Just my opinion but i think anytime you get a chance to have the top high school player in the country come to your school and play for you, you take the opportunity. Seantrelle has had his problems on and off the field no question, but hes the type of talent id want on my squad. Hes shown flashes of greatness and has all the talent in the world as we know. He just hasent found that balance to put it all together.
I hope he proves all of his naysayers wrong this year. In order to do that however he'll have to battle for his starting job back, which means we'll get to see how much he really cares. This season is make it or break it for him i think. If he can battle through adversity and nab a spot as a starter again, it would speak many volumes, as we all know Golden doesnt give a starting job to just anybody. Im interested to see how this all plays out' |

Practicing in the 'Phins indoor facility due to Isaac. Maybe some day all the Pro Canes will get together and put a big chunk of change towards updating the facilities. With as much talent that goes through the []_[] the facilities really are pretty poor. _________________

I've been going back on forth on how I think this one plays out. In the end I'm thinking it's a close one, maybe 20-17 Miami.
This is really a must win in terms of being a 6-7 win team so hopefully we come out strong. _________________

• Coach Golden said he expects 14-15 Freshmen to receive playing time Saturday.
• Seantrel Henderson and Curtis Porter will not make the trip.
• 4 TEs and 4 RBs will receive playing time.
• Duke Johnson will get "certain touches" but will not get as much work as Mike James and Eduardo Clements. _________________
