Yep. I have no doubt he can throw it deep. He just doesnt zip it in there. Most of it comes from his footwork. He's got heavy feet thats the cause of his problems and why he doesnt get enough mustard on the football. He HAS to improve that to be more than a Vince Young type QB. (not that Vince was terrible...he won games..well he's terrible now, but...its best he improves to maximize his chances at QB) |

I think those 2 beautiful runs got his confidence going. He still needs to improve the zip on his passes, which should come with more time working on his mechanics, but he's making good decisions and pulling the trigger with a good stance, which is great to see. Happy for him. He's a hard worker with a very good attitude. |
Its funny you mentioned those runs....
Cause right before they happened.
I was saying to myself "Im SHOCKED that Pryor plays with no swag. Where is the guy who was the #1 player out of HS and big time OSU QB?" Now this means nothing in terms of NFL talent, but I was looking for the confidence within himself.
Those runs got the juices flowing.
On the 2nd td run ...he actually had Owen wide open to dump it off..but it looked like he didnt quite trust himself all the way. Go from that play to that last TD he tossed it was effortless. |

Whats weird is that he has moves in the pocket, but not moves in the open field.
He shakes guys all the time in the pocket. But once he gets running straight ahead its hard for him to try and shake people. |

i zoned in and out of the game today, tape delay ruined the game for me.
O-Line needs to play better
Taiwan Jones is a beast, he's #2 behind Darren right now imo
ST coverage is starting to scare me a little bit
Palmer was good other than the pick on the TJ screen(should of been hold)
Bey was good
Defense played verry loose today and....Stafford picked us apart
Dmac is good
Red Zone Offense is crap and needs to improve
the Lack of Marcel Reece is bugging me
oh and Al Saundrs is English... I learned something today _________________

Once again I missed the game... don't have NFL Direct, and North Carolina doesn't give a **** about a team on the other side of the continent.
I see that Taiwan Jones got some carries, a nice 5.0 ypc... but how did he look? If he stays healthy he could be the dangerous backup to DMC that we really need. If we had a TE that was average to above average this offense would be insane, we have just about every piece we need. A little more 'gel' and this offense is gonna fun to watch anyway. |

^ Taiwan looked great. He finds the hole and hits it fast, he shakes defenders like a mini barry sanders(i see a lot of Barry in Taiwan), he is FAST, and he is really elusive and smooth. If he stays healthy he's going to be a beast
F Benson/Grant/Bell...I want to see Taiwan get his touches, dude is so fun to watch _________________

One more thing on Pryor. Besides losing both his dad & his mentor in past month, Pryor's Rottweiler -- "my best friend" -- also just died |

Same. He looked like a faster and maybe a bit less powerful LeSean McCoy. Love his shiftiness and how he uses his speed.
Man that kid is stupid fast. I wanna see a race. DHB, Ford, Taiwan, McFadden. I bet Taiwan or Ford win it _________________

Ford wins straight line. Jones wins a race with obstacles on it. _________________

Jones looks really fast on the field with his elusiveness, with him and DMC as a 1-2 punch our run offense is looking really good. _________________

owens droped a first down pass earlier i think that also factored in the tp choice to run _________________

Yup. Crazy how he can come in and look noticeably faster then Run DMC. The kid is a baller. He's the fastest RB I've seen in a while. _________________

Hell yea! I would take out McFadden and put in DVD though. I personally think DVD is one, if not the, fastest on our team. _________________ First jersey purchased: Jamarcus Russell.
