Cumbie has looked good tonight. Fighting for a chance at the practice squad. _________________

Cut Palmer AAAND Leinart! Who needs extra quarterbacks. | Leinart has looked good, why would we cut him?

Jamie Cumbie might have played his way past the 1st stage of roster cuts IMO. We have some real nice depth at DT now Seymour, Kelly, Bryant, Hamilton, Bilukidi, Cumbie. Love it. _________________

Well played.
He did a great job getting his hands up and batting down the pass. I think he may have had 3 tonight. Being 6'7 surely helps.
Our DL depth looks really good right now. _________________

That's good for an average of 22.7 yards per play. Stud _________________

It was just a joke played off of another joke I typed earlier. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

Wish I could have watched the game to get a glimpse of all action. However, I can't help but laugh at some of the over-reactions on here. It's preseason fellas!
Palmer and Knapp have both said that they are trying things they normally wouldn't do in the regular season just to see what works. From all accounts Palmer played fairly well besides the two picks. I doubt Palmer will be throwing to McGee ever again though.
I am concerned a bit with ST's as well as others, but the sky is not falling yet. I doubt that there has been the same 11 out there yet. They are trying everyone to see what they have and a lot of these guys will not even be on the team next week. Lechler and Jano are always funky in the preseason as well. Can't pay any attention to them until week 1. I don't think Lechler has even held one kick for Jano yet and I don't think Jano is comfortable with King at all.
I'm very happy to hear that Pryor and Criner picked up there games, but IMO that was to be expected. These guys are ballers who just need the reps. Criner has gotten more time with Moore and Ford out and Pryor had a lot more work this week with Leinert out. Pryor will never be a Peyton Manning type QB, but it sounds like he played the way he did at OSU. Deep completions and long runs are a part of his game, its all the little things that he has to continue to work on. I really enjoyed reading about how surprisingly fast guys thought he was. If you've never truelly watched him you wouldn't know this, but the guy runs like a gazelle. He just seems to be gliding along and then outta nowhere he is right by everyone with those long strides. I don't know how anyone would not want to give this kid a chance to work and develop as the 3rd string QB. The TE conversion crap is a joke at this point. I think it is a luxury to have him as our #3. He could probably start for a couple of teams and is better than most backups in the league. _________________

I picked up on that. It was crazy, he was legit like gliding over the field. Smooth long, strides like a gazelle. I was in awe of how quick he moved and how fluid his running motion was. Never watched much of him in college. _________________

Oh without a doubt. If there is one thing Pryor can do with out any question iits run. The guy flies especially for someone so big. He's a physical specimen for sure.
I remember getting in an argument in the draft forum when Pryor was entering the supplemental draft, he kept saying yeah he's fast for a QB but doesn't have elite speed and I was trying o say he's got elite speed period. It all started when I said he could realistically run a low 4.4. _________________

If Chris Brown was a QB, He'd be Terelle Pryor. Dude has moves.

If we had a TE & consistent OL play, this offense would be unreal. I'm really eager to see how things unfold during the regular season, because on paper, this group is just way too explosive.
Defense has been fun to watch as well. I think we've had good talent on defense the passed few years, but no coach has been able to put it together (a good chunk of it lies in with Al Davis' scheme). It's fun to watch these guys play & finally let loose. _________________
