Well, someone has to play on Monday night. We're just used to always playing on Thursdays or Fridays in the preseason, so it's just a few days longer in between.
And on the flip side of waiting long, we do play CLE 4 days after this game.

That does have something to do with the starters playing the most minutes of any preseason game, but also having only 3 days of rest in between games has a lot to do with it too. Even if we weren't playing the Browns in preseason week 3, we still would have used the starters more in preseason week 2 IMO.
