I'm not an elitist hipster!
Just an elitist.
I'm supporting that one team in the Hand Egg World Championship. Think their coach's last name is Harbaugh? _________________

I really wish I could deny this!
On the game - I'm really uncertain about it and much less confident going into it than the Pats game, simply because it's such an unfamiliar opponent and the pistol formation is still a bit of an unknown, at least the way the Niners run it.
I do take some solace in the fact that the Ravens were really the first team to provide the blueprint on how to deal with Miami's wildcat offense, and after this happened that formation really became much less popular.. Seems like simply gap assignment/lane controls etc. The Ravens will just really need to stay disciplined..
Also expecting a lot of holding calls from Jerome Bogar as his crew has called the most in the league this year or something close to it. _________________

Also Rox, if you can comment on this since you are probably more familiar with the feeling than the rest of us.. Putting the nearly unbeaten season aside, because that was a circumstance of it's own, is "your team" losing the Super Bowl less difficult to stomach from a fan perspective than lets say going out in the divisional or conference championship?
This seems silly of me to suggest but I think it's a big counter-intuitive in the sense that a big part of the hurt of your team exiting the playoffs is that the season goes on (without your team), and you have to watch the rest of the tournament from usually a completely neutral standpoint - part of the fun of it is having a horse in the race.. Whereas your team loses the Super Bowl, it's done and dusted and the season is over regardless; it's not as if you have to watch the team that beat yours play on. The only annoying part would probably be the trophy presentation and aftermath, but that can easily be avoided since I don't watch TV very much, if at all aside from sports and a small handful of cable programs.
If the Ravens lose tonight I just can't see myself being overly upset, but this is simply a fan standpoint, obviously the players will be MUCH more upset losing in the title game than in an earlier round because for them it's the destination whereas for the fans, whether they know it or not, it's really about the journey. _________________

Arsenal losing in the League Cup final, on "that error" form Sir Chesney & KosChelney was definitely one of the most numbing experiences ever..
I think it was more because no expected Arsenal to lose to Brum, including myself. If we had lost to say, Liverpool in a well-played match, oh well, I suppose I could stomach it. _________________

I'm going to be in downtown Baltimore tonight, right in Fells Point. Should be a very interesting night regardless of the result. _________________

Yes. Certainly not looking forward to it.. He reminds me of character from Family Guy (not really Cleveland but just someone you'd see on that type of show in general) _________________

I can't imagine having to go through that. _________________

A lot of my friends are going to some events downtown tonight as well. It's going to be absolutely nutty, especially if the Ravens win. I'll be at a party at my buddies place out in the county. _________________

We're watching the game at his place, bring an absolutely pack doesn't entertain me, and then going out to the bars immediately after. Work tomorrow is gonna be rough! _________________
