I heard he'll likely be back this season, where is he on the depth chart? I don't know the Chargers roster at all.

He was the their 4th WR i thought.
Malcom Floyd
Robert Meachem
Eddie Royal
Vincent Brown
I thought he had a pretty good shot at taking time away from Meachem or Floyd. He looked good in limited action last year. This hurts his chances, and it's a shame.

Big loss, he was going to be a big part of that O. With Mathews and Gaither struggling, the injury bug has bitten SD.

Had a lot of potential and could have overtaken Meachem for starter reps in that offense. To bad. Hate to see a young guy, or any guy for that matter, get hurt this early.

I thought he was going to have a break out year. This hurts his chances of that happening hope he has a speedy recovery.

For me as both a SDSU and Charger fan, this just plain out ruins the year for me. Half my joy was going to be watching him try to outplay every guy on our roster and break into the starting lineup.
I can't believe he got his own topic in the NFL News category, I thought he was an unknown to anyone not in the San Diego general geography.

Um... we're always the team bitten by the injury bug. I can't remember the last time the team went through a season relatively injury-free... except for the fact that Marty was still coaching.

2008: Gates, Merriman
2009: J-Wall, Hardwick
2010: Every ablebodied, good receiver on the team
2011: Rivers (yes I believe he was injured), Gates, Mathews
Blah. |
