It's sems like a stretch to think he'll get a contract done in a week. So assuming the Steelers don't break their "No contract negotiations during the season" rule, I hope Mike doesn't pull a D. Dackson and play not to get hurt (tho I wouldn't blame him if he did). Hopefully he goes all out and reminds the Steelers (and other teams) what he brings to the table.

Perhaps they already have a deal in place, it just wasn't made official. Aka, maybe Wallace didn't want to go through camp and the pre-season 
Either way, im glad he'll be back as most of us expected. However you cut it, if he doesn't play he loses money, pretty counter productive to hold out.
