Last week the Bills made some good improvements. The quarterback play was better from both Ryan Fitzpatrick and Vince Young. Young had a beautiful throw to rookie T.J. Graham for 64 yards. Young has outplayed Tyler Thigpen and has likely solidified the backup spot behind Fitzpatrick. Donald Jones caught a touchdown pass on a well-run route and a nice run after the catch. He seems to have solidified the number two receiver spot across from Steve Johnson. There are still some battles to watch to see how the Bills round out the remainder of their receiver corps. Bills fans will also continue to watch Cordy Glenn and Chris Hairston for the left tackle spot. Glenn seems to have the edge, but he must cut down on the penalties. The Buffalo defensive line finally came alive in week 2 of the preseason. On the first drive Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus each registered a sack. Defensive tackle Torrell Troup is in danger of being released due to injury. Both the starters and the depth at linebacker need to continue being watched. We have not seen much from this group during the preseason. In the secondary, rookies Ron Brooks and Delano Howell have each been having a great preseason. Rookie kicker John Potter is 6 of 6 for getting touchbacks off of kickoffs. Buffalo will be looking to continue to improve this week. This will be the final week for at least eight Bills players, as the first round of cuts will occur just three days after the Bills-Steelers game. What will you guys be looking for this week? I would like to see C.J. Spiller get more work, thus far he has 2 carries for -3 yards as well as 2 receptions for -3 yards. _________________

Glenn was named the starter already, JB. That competition is over. _________________

| I really hope they show something this week. I hope to see the offense put together a real drive and look like everyone is on sync. For most teams this is a dress rehearsal before the first week. For Buffalo this is another chance for them to prove that this is not another middle of the pack season. |

Happy to hear McGee and Rogers will be in the game. I think Rogers makes the team but with McGee's injury history I'm questionable on keeping him if he doesn't show something. _________________ ADOPT A BILL 2011

I wanna see Fitz and the offence come to play.
And I want better defence than last week, too.
Time is getting close to step up now boys. |

Our defense was very vanilla against the Vikings. We were rushing four and dropping everyone into zone coverage. Vikings just threw underneath of it. _________________

Looks like Anderson is not playing tonight. Suddenly without Merriman and Anderson we look really thin at DE tonight. _________________

Fitzpatrick and Young will be the only Bills quarterbacks taking snaps tonight. McGee and Rogers will play in the second half of the game. _________________
