He hasn't looked like a third round pick. His leg is incredible, but he outckicked his coverage a handful of time this preseason and has been a little off on pinning the ball inside the 10.
He's still been very good, but his draft position requires that he be elite in the very near future. I still think he'll be one of the best this season, but he's got some work to do. |
I'd tend to side with this, personally.
He's been good. Quite good. But i still just don't see '3rd round good' with him. Particularly when you look at other assets we could've added there instead. |

Thats what I've been wondering. A 3rd round pick for a punter has to be lights out to seem worth it

Gunners have looked bad, but thats not on Anger, who if he booms one with solid hang time, we should allow the 10+ yard return.

Wait what?  If the hangtime is what he says he can do there shouldnt be a return

Wait what? If the hangtime is what he says he can do there shouldnt be a return |
Gunners have been bad and not around the ball when caught. And if they are, they are missing the initial tackle. I place the blame on the STs players not Anger, at this point.
