Why? |
Just watching him he is clearly very talented and explosive but seems to jog around and not pursue when he cant make the play. I see this on tapes that are suposed to be his highlights and even more when watching tape of his teamates spacifically Tank
Also i doubt his overall fluidity to transition to what we would need him to do.

Im not worried about that. Dollar signs fix motvation thanku rookie wage scale. Im worred about a lack agressivness and mean that i like in players

I want my Rush LB to be a hustler, and violent hands. Motor is a huge thing Coples has so much more pure talent then Mo Wilkerson but Mo shines because he plays with that never quit attitude.
I still believe we made the right pick. Looking back Q had the best year of all the players we were talking about here.
That is why I find it funny people are saying Rex messed this team up and that he has Final say. His last two picks look like serious players. |

Im starting to lean forward of trading down to draft Jon Cooper in the mid to late first then drafting a guy like Tank, Brandon Jenkins, Mike Buchanon, Trevado Williams ect... id really like to see us double dip with 2 of these guys

TBH, last season JPP was pretty overrated. His sacks to pressure ratio was pretty high. It's not a surprise that his sacks plummeted this season

The guy I want at #9 is Dion Jordan. The dude has so much potential. He's so perfect to play in this defense and was made to play for Rex Ryan's scheme.
If we don't get Dion, I'd like to trade down. I also really like what someone had previously said about trying to get 2014 first round picks. That would be a great idea. I'd definitely love to try and get some future picks and set ourselves up for the future. |

Me too. Barring something unexpected (like Damontre Moore), I want us to take Dion. If he's not there, we should trade down.

Does anyone know how serious Jarvis Jones' condition is? Apparently he only has a mild case of spinal stenosis, but it's hard to believe anything you hear these days. If he isn't a ticking time bomb, then I would love to have him. He's hands down the best pass rusher in this class. I've been dismissing him because of his condition but I was reading up on him a little today and some people think it won't affect him.
