They started Mallett last year IIRC. They had Hoyer play then mallett then Hoyer went back in(I think to put him in a situation if Brady went down type thing.) _________________

We'll see what the breakdown of playing time looks like, but given how bad Mallett looked last time out [and his general lack of progress since being drafted], I could definitely see this as a sign they want him to step it up. _________________

I wanna see how Mallett plays tonight. I liked the pick. Dude's got a cannon. How's he looked in camp? _________________

Yeah. If he cut that inside he would've gotten at least five more yards. _________________

Brandon Spikes was all over the place on that drive. Kyle Love got manhandled on one of the plays though. Overall, not a bad start. Chandler lost the edge on the Vick run but it's Mike Vick he's dealing with. _________________

Last year Brandon Bolden...this year Zach Sudfeld! |

| Mallet didn't do bad there. Holding penalty and Vereen's horrible vision killed that drive. |

Hope Spikes knee is 100%.
Kid is as instinctive a player as I've seen.
Could lead the league in tackles if he's in the nickel over Hightower (or if Hightower moves to a DE look) regularly. _________________
