Might not be worth it now but I'd recommend getting preseason live on nfl .com . Well worth for 20 dollars . The condensed versions are awesome to keep up with other teams. |

Am I reading that right that Banks got us 0 regular season TD's last year while Briscoe got 6 for Tampa Bay? |

I believe it was back when Gibbs was the head coach and Albright was the long snapper. Gibbs went to him and pulled him out of linemen drills and told him he wasn't going to do them anymore because his hands were too valuable to risk.
Think of it this way: if your center is also your long snapper and he gets hurt, you have to replace two guys not just one. |

But I wonder is Shanahan up for this? In his interviews he seems pretty stern on Banks having to make this team as a WR not just a KR/PR (even after Banks return on Saturday. Banks is not ur traditional WR but he can do alot with the ball in his hands on screens and trick plays (witch is why I'm on for keeping him aboard) Kyle/Mike just have to come up with the plays to make these things happen. _________________

I still doubt they cut Grossman, but I'd be Elated if they did _________________

I honestly believe they were gonna give Banks another shot given he showed any thing in preseason . I think it was more of a wake up call for banks to take his health and training habits a little more serious . Shannahan doesn't like to make his intentions of roster that public , so I found it a little odd. |

If they do, I hope it's with RG3 or Cousins as the QB. Even then still hopefully they call the rite play for Banks to make a play. Banks is not gonna out jump anyone at his size, but give him and quick slant and he may blow pass the defender. To sume my theory up, Banks needs to be our 6th WR (someone who dosent see the field much as WR) but earned his spot with his special teams play plain and simple. Shanahan and his stubborn ways may not see that though. _________________

Briscoe | Well if we kept 7 wrs, I'd probably go with 9 OL because we can put Compton on the Practice squad and activate him if we have injuries. I think that's the easiest thing to do.
My problem though is still that Briscoe isn't going to be much of a contributor on our offense and isnt a special teams player. he still won't be next year if he was retained because he'd still be #5 and not a special teams player _________________
