Right now, I'd be thrilled to hear/see the rumors! _________________

Just passing along some information here, as the Jets recently worked out McNeil but nothing is imminent. Probably was underwhelming.
Also, John Clayton just tweeted that the Colts on currently working on a trade. Didn’t specify but did say they are looking at CBs and ILBs and he did bring up Winston Justice as a possible trade chip.
That sounds like a pretty good match with us… _________________

Definitely someone we should be investigating further. I can't believe I deleted my recording of the Colts-Steelers game already! And I can't even remember if Justice saw the field. _________________

Does not sound all that good from what I read and it all so sounds as he play mostly as a RT. _________________

He definitely was mostly (if not always) used as a RT. My thought is that the more competition we can get for both of the OT positions, the better this OL could be. It might just be that Justice could be the best LT on this team. So I wouldn't fixate too much on which side they played on. A player used to playing on the left would be a better situation for us, but I'd be open to any player that could change positions and still consistently provide upgraded play for our OL. _________________

Darren Urban @Cardschatter
Let the speculation commence MT @DarynColledge71: Went out with Chad Clifton and the boys last night for a little food and live music.
LOL could it be? _________________

lets sign Otah and Clifton...we need all the help we can get.
but I am against trading for Winston Justice, unless it is for a late rounder. _________________

What good is Otah going to do? He struggles with his weight and his health. He is a below average pass protector too. I would rather roll with Massie. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Former first rounder OT Alex Barron was released by Seattle today. Said to have looked solid in camp but was cut anyway.
Sando suggested he might be a good option for us since he knows the division with his times in STL.
Thoughts? _________________

He plays left tackle and can provide insight on a division rival. I say bring him in. _________________

As a FSU Fan, i can say, we dont need Barron.
Unless we really want to lead the league in false starts, holds and missed blocks |

Barron doesn't change anything for us. Proven poor tackle, of which we're already loaded. _________________

Darren Urban @Cardschatter
Whiz isn't saying Cards won't get FA tackle, but likes how Batiste played on left side vs Tenn. "That's how we approach that this week." _________________

I wonder if Skelton & Kolb are going to increase their income protection and life insurances before week 1 with comments like that.
Time to start following the top of the draft more seriously me thinks. |
