I thought it might be a good idea to have kind of a consolidated feed/discussion for TC so we don't have a bunch of various TC update threads.

Feel free to add your own observations from camp if you go, and pictures as well!

note: It may not be daily updates - focused on updates for the bigger moments of camp. Your daily input is welcome though.

Day 1 (7/27)

Crennel says that the ACL crew (and Kendrick Lewis/shoulder) all passed their physicals! Albert missing from camp with Crennel consent for family issue. Bowe not in camp/hasn't signed tender.

Mothership doing live show @ 2pm Chiefs Live from TC (will be daily)

*update* Albert at practice now!

Day 2

Houston not in camp today - reported as an illness

I was at camp today (great weather considering!) and thought practice was well orchestrated and crisp.

Tried to watch the QB's a lot.. and at this point it's hard to really elevate one of the others. They all look solid to me. The bad moments are the ones that stand out. Cassel's bad moment came during some 11on11 when DJ had him picked (but dropped it!). Quinn got "sacked" during 11on11. Stanzi was a a little erratic during work with the WR's alone and when the DB's line up. In that same drill I thought Cassel came away looking crisp.

In special teams work I thought Wylie looked the best returning.

One last thing... Baldwin is a monster of a man.

Day 4 7/30

Ugoh (LT) unexpectedly retires

Day 5 7/31 night practice

Flowers leaves practice with injury - still waiting for update

Day 6 8/1

No practice - new CBA rules 1 day off every 6 days of camp

Day 7 8/2

Chiefs add FB after Bannon sits with abdominal injury and Gentry released after failing physical.

DiMarco signed

(golfers in the house - he is related to Chris DiMarco from the PGA)

Flowers injury noted as just a foot bruise. Not serious.

Day 11 8/6

Lilja getting reps at C - is this because of weakness behind Hudson or the advancement of Allen at LG?

1st depth chart of the year expected today!

Day 12 8/7

Joint practice day.. read AP's camp feed and look forward to plenty of video from the mothership tomorrow at 2pm on Camp Live!

AP Day 12 feed

Day 18 8/13

back to practice today with great weather.

Cyrus Gray limped of clutching his hammy Sad

Final Day of TC!! 8/16

Leaving St Joe after this practice and the rest of pre season wil be practiced in season form.

Am I the only one this bothers? Neither Poe Powe can beat out the undrafted veteran. I know right now depth chart doesn't really matter, but imagine how excited we'd be if Cassel was #2 on the depth chart if even for a day. This is kind of the opposite for me. I realize in our DT rotation it shouldn't truly matter, but still. Maybe this comes back to the B.J. Raji thing that Nic and I have been so frustrated with recently.

And of course, UGH to The Show not being there.

Good info brother! Exactly the kind of input this thread welcomes! TY!

I'm surprised it was Toribio and not Gordon. Anyone else?

On my way to camp now! I'll give updates and pictures later unless something big happens.

A86, I think Toribio is better at anchoring and holding the point while Gordon gives some more versatility and can actually put some pressure on the pocket occasionally. Plus Toribio is supposedly around 315 lbs. while Gordon is around 305 lbs. according to ESPN.com. Honestly, I think outside of Allen Bailey, who at this point might be undersized for any roll other than situational pass rusher, Gordon is probably one of our better pass rushers at end (which isn't saying he is a Pro Bowler by any means, just one of the better out of a very average group as far as rushing the passer from a line position goes).

I really hope Brown can make an impact for us. I liked him coming out of Colorado when the draft experts were all about Jimmy Smith. Maybe he can push Routt. We definitely need some quality depth outside. I definitely don't see Javier Arenas being able to slide outside if needed because of injury.
