FIZNACT: Beloved ring of honor member Chuck Howley was actually drafted with the 7th pick in the first round by the Bears in 1958, retiring in 1959 after what appeared to be a career ending knee injury. The Cowboys, in 1961, traded a 2nd round pick and a 9th round pick in 1963 to the bears for his rights after he played in a West Virginia Alumni game and appeared to be his old dominant self. He came out of retirement and the rest is history. _________________

Lovie Smith has certainly loved the defensive side of the ball even since playing in High School. During Smith's high school career in Big Sandy, TX, he earned all-state honors for three years as a defensive end and linebacker. His team won three consecutive state championships in 1973–75, including a 0–0 tie in 1974 versus Celina High School of legendary coach G. A. Moore. _________________

Fun fact: the worst loss in cowboys history came against the Chicago bears. In 1985, the week 11 match up brought the bears into Texas Stadium as Mike Ditka faced his idol Tom Landry. The bears shut out the cowboys 44-0. To this day, it's still the worst home loss in cowboys history. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

BOLD your responses. Anything not in bold will not be accepted. You have until kickoff.

Find me one interesting fact, refer to last weeks challenge.
For those curious how I will score it. Each correct answer gets you a point. Which ever division has the most points by the end - wins. MOBILIZE YOUR DIVISIONS. |
The First Dallas Victory came in On November 1st, 1964. Exactly 47 years and one month before this game. _________________

By both do you mean all 3?
And Yes. I need to update the points. Everyone can go ahead and bite me. The bye week is coming up. _________________

Find something either cowboy or bear related. Not the team, the real thing. And make it relate to the game in a funny way. _________________

It's not appropriate for this site - but have you ever seen Shake That Bear? _________________

I mentioned it wasn't appropriate. Now your wife is going to ask why that is on your browser history. _________________
