How did Ryan Harris look? Our swing tackle was put on IR, would he be a good fit in Houston? I really think we need a veteran swing tackle.... _________________

Practice Squad released per Broncos official twitter feed.
Jeremiah Johnson snuck on, he'll make the team next year, IMO.
Full list is:
Jeremiah Johnson, Greg Orton, Wayne Tribue, Sealver Siliga, Cornelius Ingram, Ben Garland, Duke Ihenacho.
We still have room for one more. _________________

I dont believe thats the final depth chart.
Yesterday in Elways presser, he said Malik will backup Wolfe in at LDE but hes listed at DT. Also, Tony Carter is listed behind Omar Bolden and Elway said they are the opposite.
I think the PR staff just eliminated the players who didnt make the team and left everything else the same. Once waivers is finished I wouldnt be surprised if the depth chart is changed. _________________

Adam Weber is not named? Either he didnt clear waivers or Broncos wanted a new arm for the Practice Squad. _________________

Harris' multiple injuries to his back and legs have cost him a great deal of his mobility, which was always a key attribute in his pass protection ability. It's too bad because in 2008 it looked like we had a pair of multiple time Pro Bowlers book-ending the line in Harris and Clady. At this point, I'm not sure he's even a worthwhile backup for any team that is less than totally desperate at OT.
Wow, they have Decker listed as the only PR. I don't like that; Decker is far too important to the offense as the #1 WR to risk him getting hurt returning punts.

I sure Elway and Fox are combing the waiver wires right now to see who could be available for either active roster and the PS. If someone comes available whom they like, we have a handful of players on the active roster who remain PS eligible. _________________ big_palooka:

Weber apparently has a couple of options, and is exploring them. May be some teams with 2 QB's on their roster where a ps stint would be more appealing (vs 4th qb on the broncos) |

| Weber signed with Tampa. I must say I am quite surprised Gerelle Robinson is not on the practice squad. Orton does not have Robinson's upside in my view. Also the exclusion of Blatnick surprised me a bit particularly with Beal on IR. |

IMO Greg Orton had to be the choice. I believe that the front office made the decision of Orton over Robinson because of experience. With the WR's we have on this team, we very easily could sign a FA or call-up our PS WR at any moment. This team doesnt have time to waste for a WR to develop. The WR's have to be able to play right away and Robinson showed hes at least a couple years away. Orton played last year when needed and showed more skills this pre-season. Having him still work with the team is best in case of emergency. _________________

Something seems a bit fishy about Beal's injury. Though not permitted, is it a practice in the NFL to sometimes put promising players on IR even if said injury is not season ending?
For example can a team put a player with a sprained knee on IR with the player's permission and with the understanding that next season his chance of making the team would be a lot higher?
Or another reason could be to have the equivalent of a 54th player on the roster who could rejoin the team if there is a season ending injury to someone in the same position. With the new rules, each team can bring one player off IR during the season. Putting the player on IR would save the team the risk of cutting a player who they think will not make it to the practice squad because another team would claim him. |

Good Call😃. Texans picked Harris up! Hope it works out. Maybe he'll be able to do better in the ZBS, but he looks done to me. |

We kept Cornelius on the cab squad? Cool. He could do some things for us eventually. |
