Potro played so well in the loss,
Has to work on his fitness as he tires way too easily. Then he got rattled in the 2nd set after the break. Djokovic earned that win due to his defense. His court coverage was just spectacular. Probably one of the entertaining 3 set matches here. _________________

Women's final pushed to Sunday, wouldn't be surprised if the Men's Final is pushed to Monday again. _________________

Ferrer had the lead in the first set 5-2, which is surprising compared to the fitness of both players during the tournament. _________________

Murray could not have asked for an easier chance to win his first slam. _________________

Novak in the final is easy?
Something people always fail to mention - Federer, Nadal and Djokovic all won their first Slam finals against someone who was unseeded. Murray has only ever played Federer or Djokovic in the final. As a whole, he's had a pretty unlucky career in Slams. _________________

As a whole, he's had a pretty unlucky career in Slams. | He didn't have to play Federer or Nadal, the toughest player he faced before the final was the ridiculously inconsistent Berdych, and when I wrote that he was either going to play Ferrer or Djokovic on 1 day's rest.
I understand that those other 3 had it easy as well (Nadal had to go through Federer, Djokovic had to go through Federer and #5 seed Ferrer, and Federer did beat a prime Roddick and another top 10 seed), but that's not going to happen in today's game. This is as easy as it's going to get for the next year or 2 and as easy as it's been in a long time when it comes to winning a slam. _________________

Djokovic, much more so than Murray, seems completely flabbergasted by the wind. He is constantly slipping and having to hit shots from awkward positions. _________________

Murray is about to put Djokovic in a deep hole. I'm glad though, all four majors potentially will be won by four different people. Next year is going to be intense if Murray holds on for the win................................... _________________
