It was an onslaught today. Swansea may have asked for it, but they still got it. Having players like Michu on the bench meant that going into it Laudrup must have had some thought on his mind to keep it close for a while and try to win it eventually. But this was as one sided a performance as there's been this season.
It's crazy how critical Daniel Sturridge already is to the way we play. |

I was wrong about Sturridge. I said He'd be the best option besides Huntelaar _________________

Yep, good performance against a weak Swansea side. Coutinho looked great. Had one terrible pass that could've easily led to a goal though. Besides that he was looking a threat most of the time.
BTW, how good is Dejan Lovren? Seems to be a rumor picking up some steam that Liverpool are interested in signing him in the summer. _________________

It's official, I'm on the Son Heung-Min Bandwagon. What an incredible player. I have no doubts he would do well in the PL. The type of player that's needed. Someone who can play anywhere in the the front three and is pretty clinical it seems. _________________

I don't think Liverpool have enough clout to get a guy like Son with likes Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, and ManU circling around for him. _________________

They don't have Brendan Rodgers.
I love the analogy that he is like David Brent _________________

Enough clout? Okay then. I'm not saying he's the most realistic option, would be one of the most ideal signings though. _________________

Who's the guy on the U18s that looks exactly like Agger?
He's on the homepage as of now. _________________

Possibilities.
Hopefully he's eying this guy as well.

All I see on LFC's website is that Borini wants to be an Interior Designer. _________________

Double swoop from Feyenoord?
De Vrij and Clasie sound good? Good. _________________

A win is the only acceptable result tomorrow. Though, to their credit, Wigan have looked good recently _________________

This is probably where Wigan start their annual amazing run to finish safely above the bottom three. _________________

This defense still worries me. Wigan were able to get 3-4 good chances on net that they either fluffed or Reina had to make a save. Also Allen looks really poor. His touch seems off and many of his passes are heavy. This was a game were almost every attacking player was clicking but him.
On to the pros. Coutinho looks brilliant. His vision and creativity is something this club has been lacking for a while. His throughballs into the box is what I have been screaming for. I do wonder how he would play against more physical teams like West Ham or Stoke but at least, he can be a great impact player against the more technical sides in the Premier League. _________________
