I think Rodgers is the right man for the job the team may not be scoring but hes making them play attractive football, they haven't scored the last 2 games the Zenit game was poor but the team had so many chances to score the West Brom game. Also sturridge when he comes back I believe will help and the summer should help the squad needs a little bit of work and so you need to give Rodgers at least another year, not sell Suarez until the following summer if the team fails to get top 4 next year.

That being said needs for this summer I feel the biggest one is a big presence some one who can play box to box or as a defensive mid, we need a big physical enforcer in the center of the pitch. The team today had none of that and I believe that is why they got ran over. I'm not really sure who will be available in the summer but they need someone like strootman someone who is sound technically and a big force in the middle of the pitch. As much as Erickson would help the squad I also feel like he would be a luxury as if we bring in another CAM there would be too many players for 2 positions. And I believe money would be better spent on a 2nd DM to help Lucas so we can play with one every game, whereas today we had Allen and Stevie who aren't true defensive mids and Allen has no physical presence to him.

Allen's been a bit of a flop so far. I think another DM and CAM is what the team needs. Stevie is up there an Jonjo plays out of position there.

I understand it was a weaken Swansea and it was to me one of the worst performances from an away side at Anfield this season but in the end a win is a win; especially one that ends up 5-0. The team looks a lot better with Sturridge. There is a lot of incisiveness and cutting edge when he is on the pitch. Coutinho had an extremely bright debut which was nice to see. Showed great vision and creativity which has been lacking from the creative players outside of Suarez.


Ugh. Borini is apparently out for the season. Just not having a lot of luck this first season. Can never even get into form before he gets hit with the injury bug. We have all seen this story before and I hope he doesn't turn into any multiple Liverpool player whose career is stalled by injuries.
