Thurman Thomas takes #4. Thanks to those who voted... let's keep it going.
1. Bruce Smith, DE, 1985-1999
2. O.J. Simpson, RB, 1969-1977
3. Jim Kelly, QB, 1986-1996
4. Thurman Thomas, RB, 1988-1999
5. ? _________________

Billy Shaw, anyone?

Shaw had the most complete skill set of any offensive linemen in Bills history. His combination of strength, quickness, and awareness allowed him to pave the way for Cookie Giclhrist and Wray Carlton. His abilities also served Jack Kemp and Daryle Lamonica extremely well in the passing game.

Sorry jb, but I had to go with Joe DeLamielleure here. Not only was he really the heart and soul of the "Electric Company" but I also read that he played on the wedge on kickoffs his entire career in Buffalo.
Plus, there's his "Open Letter to Drew Brees" (which for some reason I am unable to post the link), which I really had to admire.
It's really close for me between Joe D, Shaw, and Kemp, but for what he did for OJ, Joe D gets my vote here. _________________

Good choice, Joe D would be my second pick here. _________________

Interesting the couple that picked Talley. I think I might have almost everyone in the poll ahead of him. _________________

Oh yeah, I would have Joe D, Reed, Tasker and Kent Hull ... possibly others ahead of him _________________

Gets really hazy here. I went with Kemp, but Joe D and Billy Shaw would be right up there. Must be my skill position bias. Still, blocking was much more difficult back then...
I'm torn, let me re-vote. _________________

Yep. Out of the 10 others listed, I have at least 8 ahead of him, maybe 9.
Might be some of the younger guys, who don't know much about the older Bills? I'm not knocking them, it's just hard to vote for someone as the top available when you don't know much about them. _________________

Yeah I have all 3 very close. I chose Joe D mainly because of what he helped OJ do, and the fact that he really anchored the "Electric Company". _________________
