This honestly was even more lopsided a couple weeks ago before the Jets won by 30 points against the Colts.

I didn't want either of them ( I thought wr was our biggest problem and wanted either Wright or Floyd with an OLB in the second) but as of right now there is no question in my mind that Jones is the real deal and barring injury will be a thorn in our side for a long time.
Meanwhile Coples has been "ok" in the time he's been on the field but a DE in a 3-4 defense might not be the right system for him. However It's really hard to judge him with the injuries to Poula and Ellis and the fact we are terrible at the OLB position. |

It's not lopsided Coples has been good when on the field. Jones is obviously better but they also play two different positions and Coples has to battle for time and plays the less flashy 3-4 End. Jones plays the whole game and gets a chance to make plays.

Do Jets fans really go in the Pats forum and post stuff and make threads like this? I've never been there, but that would be pretty lame.
As far as the topic, Jones has seen a lot more playing time and plays a different position.. so theres that. |
