Yeah it looks like trading turner away is going to work out afterall. Sanchez had a great start last time. Infante is playing his usual good defense and solid contact on offense. Just what we needed for a playoff push. |

| Anyone think valverde is going to come back after this season? I hope not. Not cause hes terrible but because hes the scariest closer in the big league. You dont get 3 batters 3 out innings. With this guys its strikeout, walk, strike out, walk, double, strike out game over. This is no way to live I tell you! |

There a few decent options in free agency next year. No one who would be that much of on upgrade though.

I highly doubt Benoit ever becomes a full time closer. Villarreal has a chanc e but he is important in his own right as a middle reliever. I would be happy bringing in Soria next year though, except it would be nice to have an offseason in which we don't blow all of our top picks by signing free agents.

Rondon will be the CL next year. He was promoted to AAA the other night. The kid is Zumaya Ver 2.0.
