Couple notes guys. Greg_Jennings dropped out of the league and is being replaced by Sandybaby716. Msmre never responded after multiple attempts to get a hold of him here and even on Twitter so he is getting replaced by our only non-Packer fan in DolphWins. Please welcome our new owners!

Now, are you guys ready to get this draft under way?!! Like always, we'll hold it here on the forum. We'll have a discussion thread and a draft pick only thread in the Fantasy/Sim/GM leagues forum which i will post links to below.

The draft order is worst record gets first pick and best record gets last pick. For the tie breakers, i flipped a coin. Like always, it's snake. Here's the order...

Sandybaby716
BF004
Deadeye
Mendeleev
DolphWins
Booken57
RashaanSalaami
Ketchup
Zing
DannyB

We also have some trades to consider from last year...

DannyB gets BF004's 2012 2nd round pick.
BF004 gets Ketchup's 2012 2nd round pick
Sandybayb716 gets BF004's 2012 4th round pick
Sandybaby716 gets DolphWins's 2012 6th round pick

I will put together a full draft order in the draft thread so if you trade any draft picks, PLEASE PM me so i can be aware and update the order.

The draft officially will start this Friday at 9:00 AM CT. This mean if you are OTC and wish to make your pick before that then by all means, go ahead. But the OTC "clock" won't be in effect until Friday at 9:00 AM. Once the draft officially starts, you will have a 12 hour window to make your pick. "Deadtime" will be from 11:00PM CT to 9:00AM CT. That means that your 12 our clock does not run between those hours.

IF YOU MISS YOUR PICK, YOU LOSE IT. PERIOD. I'm in another dynasty league that uses this rule and it works very well to get people to be punctual. We'll do everything in our power to make sure you are aware that you are OTC with PM's, e-mails and even texts if u want me to text you when u are OTC. But the best way to not lose your pick is to check in on a daily basis.

The draft will consist of 6 rounds (shortening it one round from previous years) with any available FA and of course rookies being eligible to be picked. Here's the draft thread...

http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=495758

All Picks are to be made in the draft thread and ONLY picks are to be made in there. keep all the discussion in here.

Samesies. I kinda wanna make my first pick now (I know who it is) but I don't want to make it too early since I know it'll make you guys sweat.

I'm just hoping someone good makes it to pick #20...

Also, while here for discussion, I wanted to make sure everyone knows that, considering the sorry state of my team, I will be trying to trade all of my older players. This includes Andre Johnson, Michael Turner, and Willis McGahee. Send me a PM with any offers, I'm hoping to get a first round pick or a couple of young unproven players for them.

I am definitely willing to field offers for RGIII at pick 2.

Let me know if you have interest and we can talk.

Feel free to throw something my way.

I may peruse your team and let you know who I may want.

Hard to tell what owner has what team. May want to consider having something more telling, i.e., I have my team abbreviation as 004.

The new regime has begun to make their mark on the team.

First year GM Sandybaby716 traded a couple of veteran fan favorites in Andre Johnson and Willis McGahee in an attempt to build for the future.

"When you can get (Seattle quarterback Matt) Flynn and (Pittsburgh receiver Antonio) Brown in a trade, you have to do it," he said to reporters in a press conference. "And we like the potential of that Packers backup rusher (Alex Green) too".

New head coach Bronco Swift said in a later press conference "We got ourselves some guys who can throw. We got some guys who can run. We even got some guys who can catch".

Fans of the team were disappointed in the team's dismal record last season. Said one fan, "The last few seasons we felt like we were less good. Now we feel we might be more good."

It remains to be seen if these moves will have much impact on the roster, but with the first pick in Friday's fast approaching draft, there is a glimmer of hope for this once proud franchise.

Posted this basic message on the league page as well, but, to cover my bases...

So I'm thinking of moving up in the first round. I currently have picks 10 (1.10), 11 (2.1) and 19 (2.9) overall. If anybody is interested, please let me know (PM, whatever). Thanks.

We also need to discuss in some way how to make sure people don't throw away games this year.
